mine's got the same as your's !!!!!!!!!!!! you're just not handling lisa the right way, treat em mean, keep em keen !!!! i sometimes toss her clothes in the suitcase, when she asks what i'm doing, i just say " just seeing how long it would take to pack your stuff " .... and then when i pick myself up off the floor i unpack it ! just for a second it feels good to be on top.

Too bad that Palm is dying a slow, horrid, death.

I do not recommend to any of my clients that they use a Palm, and in fact I'll be recommending to a client exactly that within the next week, and at the same recommending that they not buy from me several thousand dollars programming services.

I will be supporting their decision to go with Windows CE devices (they want both) but I want to talk them out of Palm, because it's a dead-end for their development dollars.

Well, that argument was settled many years ago, but it's closer to VHS vs Beta, which was settled even before Win vs Mac.

While it's good that it suits your needs today, what sort of future lifetime are you expecting from the device? What sort of batteries does it take, and if rechargeable, are they user replaceable, or do they, like an ipod, render the device prematurely as a paperweight once the batteries die in 18-24 months?

FWIW, Vince, we have a veritable museum of handheld devices here (early Palms, mono CE 1.0 devices ... ); I've been working with them (as a developer) for almost 10 years now, and yes, that's far longer than they've even been available in Oz.

I will be happy that it will last me 2-3 year. I did play with a mobile PC PDA..but did not like it. I prefer the palm much more and it syncs great with my mac lappy.

My christmas pressie to myself was an iMate JasJar - PDA + phone + built in keyboard. Runs Windows Mobile 5 and I couldn't be happier. I'm sure you'll be equally happy with your new toy and realistically you'll outgrow it before the Palm OS dies it's death.

The imate JasJar looks too high tech for me I got a small mobile that is always with me and the PDA is just replacing my paper diary.

Touche Shutters, just purchased a TX, amazingly brilliant is the only way to describe it. Just downloaded my emails via BT and V3 Razr, syncs perfectly, wifi is quick and has no-brainer setup, and there are only about 20,000 apps still available for it.

I understand it most probably is a dying platform, but it should do me for a couple of years for now.

Have had numerous Palm devices over recent years, including brilliantly screened Clie (now extinct) range, and started off with Psion devices, which again was excellent but the platform just died.

I just couldn't stand buying another Windows product, maybe I will one day in the future when there are no alternatives.

Takes a DVD and turns it into MP4, all freeware of course. Simply sync with TX and put it onto SD card and you have full screen DVD in your hand!

Then give D70 to wife and retire her little Olympus C770, the crappy thing that won't focus and takes forever to shoot. (The C770, not the D70!)

I've printed out the DPreview of the D200 and have been having a good read.
I like, I want! So I wait til funds are right and wife is REAL sick of C770 then we are all happy!

Been reading a lot on lenses too. Decisions Decisions!
