Mal, Leigh gets full credit for setting up the webcast. He even sacrificed some of his dinner in order to keep it all rockin' and rollin' for y'all folks at home. I really have to say - and words simply aren't enough - how gratifying it is to be able to run this site, given the outstanding quality of the membership base that we have here. The continuing generosity of people like Thanh and Poon, as well as Stuart (smac) and Russell (Thaddeus) simply astounds me, but it leads also to the contributions that have been made by others, like Matt K and Scott (MHD), Mitedo, Oneputt and Stubbsy, all of whom had a hand, in some way, in terms of this evening's event. It's great to be a small part of this group of outstanding individuals: thank you all for being such a great membership. g.

Many thanks to Thanh for the wonderful prize. Congratulations to all the other winners in all categories. Thanks to the entire forum really for making this unique place what it is. Matt
Just stringing a few words together does not do justice to the thanks i want to convey to all involved that made the night such a great success.
An enormous thankyou to all those who contributed to the fantastic prizes offered last night and another enormous thankyou to those who did the organising. It was a very enjoyable evening. Thankyou to ALL forum members who make this place what it is, a great place to meet, greet and do photography amongst really nice people. For me, it's become a second home. Thankyou. Steve.

The dinner was excellent last night, it was great to see everyone. I had a great time. Sooo many prizes! How many people won the lucky door prize? I know I did, and several others on my table. I'd like to echo what Killakoala said in his last paragraph. My sentiments exactly. Doug C.
Well done to all who placed in the comp. Big thanks to all the people who make this place what it is. Its a true pleasure to be a member on this forum.

And to you too Mark. You received a special commendation (what Leigh so cavlierly referred to as Best Of The Rest) award (and a prize courtesy of Birddog). Congratulations to all who won, organised and attended. This dinner was the culmination of a great 12 months in the life of this community and I, for one, look forward to the next year. Peter
