Sigma 20mm F1.8Anyone got one of these?
To round out my kit I am thinking about a fast wide angle (my 17-40 is only F4). F2.8 just isn't fast enough, so F2 or F1.8 it is. And must be wider than 24mm. Not interested in a fisheye either. Think this is about the only contender? Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
I carry one frequently and find it quite nice. Actually all three of the Sigma EX wide f1.8 primes (20mm, 24mm, and 28mm) are very nice. I have the 20 and the 28.

I have been using this lens for all my indoor wedding images. I love the close focus feature too. AF is OK. All the below images are captured by this lens
Thanks shutterbug - looks the goods.

I got one of these also. It's a great big piece of glass, good 'feel' to the lends, nice and heavy. Filters are expensive which is a pain though.
I find it sharp throughout the range, but definelty sharper two - three stops from wide open. I use mine for close up detail shots and landscapes and am very happy with it. I have sold all my other sigma lens's and gone to Nikkor, but this lens will stay with me. I'd have no hesitation recommending it. 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc
