Well I have the air con on, but I'm slaving over a stove making the last of my Christmas gifts. So far today I've bottled 12 litres of Tomato & Chilli relish and have two fruit cakes in the oven. After I've eaten lunch I then have 3 dozen Creme De Menthe truffles and 3 dozen Malibu truffles to dip in chocolate.

Then I have another 6 dozen chocolates to make the centres for (3 doz Grand Marnier and 3 doz Kahlua). Finally I have 500g of glace ginger chunks to dip in chocolate. Then I'm almost done (guess that'll be around midnight  ). Might have a nice Cascade Premium in there somewhere too. :D

WOW - that's a huge effort! I hope the recipients enjoy your efforts.

I've got the aircon on and I'm going well but my computer room has no aircon. Processing some shots in PS at the moment as I'm a few hundred behind.

Thanks for the warning Geoff, no aircon here in Coffs as we don't need it, except for today (40C+). We do have fans and electricity though!

(I still have a 39C fever and a lung infection so I can't say I'm enjoying Christmas Eve all that much, but nevertheless we'll our best to keep smiling and have a bit of pudding tomorrow, if the custard hasn't melted!)

Did all the mowing, pruning and weeding this morning so worked up quite a temperature. I'm a bit of purist so replaced the moisture with a litre of Staminade, rather than a beer, and I'm just about to jump in the pool and splash around with the kids. Will probably drag myself out of it a little later when I hear the dulcet tones of a crisp sauvignon blanc (probably, dare I say it, a Stoneleigh from New Zealand's Marlborough region) calling me to partake of it's many virtues while the Moreton Bay sea breeze cools the afternoon.

Mmmmmmmm.

Hi all I'm back from hiking.

Tasmania isn't quite this humid/hot!

Than - you have fantastic taste. Around Nelson Bay is some of the best coastline anywhere, drinking a great beer and commenting about the beer with the best bottle ever! Grolsch is great!

A/C here but I don't like wasting electricity ($) so I have only had it on for an hour all day... must save more money for more toys!
