Steve, noway do I consider it nice weather. Although I'm regretting going out early this morning to do some photography. At 6-7am it would of been perfect for birds. I prefer temps around 20-30degC usually low 20s are good for me.

Beautiful weather.
TC has had temps in the 40's for the past few weeks and occasional storms. I will have heat over cold anyday. Darwin is probably in the 40's and afternoon thunderstorms to really throw a hot wet blanket over things. I enjoy that even more. Cheers

Twas a beautiful day today in Sydney on the harbour. But i'm not looking forward to tomorrow. Still, it's better than some places i've been where 40 degrees would be a nice cool change.

I used to say the same thing when living in Calgary, but about the cold - "At least it is a dry -40C" Whichever way you look at it, 40C is bloody hot But who's complaining, it's only 37C here Time for the beach. Have a good one, radar
Most of the time I work from home I have to remember when you run for the phone and people ask "I'm sorry are you busy?"
NEVER SAY " no I was just out in the swimming pool" It is a cool 30o here much better than the last few days gotta go hit the pool again
What are y'all complaining about?
It's very pleasant here in San Francisco. Coolish - we had soim e rain in Carmel and Monterey, but overal it's been very temperate. g.

True dat! A celcius to farenheit conversion of today's top temps - 44 degrees celcius reported across Sydney only translates into a puny 110 farenheit. I've been in the south west United States where the temprature exceeded 130 degrees farenheit and it felt more comfortable. Bring on global warming I say.
Indeed. We were intending to head into the Napa, but the weather forecasts suggested - correctlyt, as it happens - that that was not a good idea. We went to Santa Cruz and Monterey instead. g.

One or two days of heat does not count and Marvin you should know better, when we were living in Woomera the bitumen used to melt after a week of plus 40 degrees temps and the nights did not go below 30 and it got to 47!
Canon
Screw it.
I'm staying inside tomorrow and writing a bloody screenplay while drinking lots of ice cold drinks. The weather has a cool breeze at the moment but it's still bloody humid. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

From my Weather channel experience yesterday (Sunday), humidity was only 17% Keep in mind that heat makes you bloom (women), perspire (men) and sweat (horses) and a lot of people confuse this with humidity

Surely you sweat at the same rate regardless of the humidity. You just notice it more in high humidity as it takes so much longer to evaporate, or if it's 100% then it doesn't evaporate at all. Having been a baker in Far North QLD i have experienced this in the wee small hours of the morning when humidty peaks. It's really good for making bread rise though
