Thought this might be of interest to some (like me who has a D70 in at Maxwells awaiting service)

Glen,
Maxwell will send you this D90 for replacement of your D70
When will you have your camera back?

They are not sure. I would like before Christmas as a 70-200 doesn't look to good without a body on the back

Chasing again tomorrow, today's lady wasn't much use and supposedly no one else in. Bloody frustrating

I would LOVE for that pic to be true - haha, the b4stard child of a D2 series and D70. Some inconsistencies makes me believe some skilled photochopper went to work just to stirr us up unfortunately.

They're doing stocktake today, pending of shipping my order of 25 D70 kits for one of my Govt. customers

25  No wonder the price just went down another couple of hundred for forum members

Onyx, I have no idea of the veracity of comments about that photo or the photo itself. Probably an educated guess. Mentions 8mp which seems about right, though I doubt the portrait grip (though maybe for a D110)

I'll stick with the D70 I think.
It dose all I'll ever need for some time to come

Cheers

It's an artists "l'impression"!

As one of the guys on dpreview noted; it has a Mirror Lock Up switch but no loops for straps!
