70:180 micro lens

Postby curly on Thu Jan 05, 2006 11:02 am

I've been bitten by the lens lust bug. Does anyone own or tried the 70:180 micro zoom lens. The reviews I have read seem to think it's all right and it would appear to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Any comments or advice welcome

Yes, I tried it and I'm not a macro fan so I don't have it, Kerry got it and I think he's only the one on this board has and play with this lens alot.

It's a great zoom macro lens only, other than that, it does not weight in much with other benefits as long zoom with reachable distance, not a fast AF lens and its premium is hefty.

It's not a stone to kill two birds as your thoughts.
