Re: Wedding Photographers know a good one?
This is going to be hard, there are so many factors in choosing a wedding photographers. Depends on what style your friends like and what type of albums they want, do they like the photographer?....etc. Also are the photographers Members of AIPP? OK...check me out I use a D200
Re: Wedding Photographers know a good one?
Very True....I am on a no win situation. They like the David Oliver http://www.davidoliver.com.au I have another friend who just booked him. At this rate all my friends will use him!!!!!! This couple don't want Artsi Fartsi.....wants a photographer to take photos of the wedding and her as the center peice not to enter some competition. At this stage I am just looking for referneces. I will do the rest well I hope. Thanks shutterbug. PS: Maybe I should turn it into a Mini Meet that way we will have ten or twenty camera taking photos That way all I need a Video Cameraman I'm back

Tell your friends to invite 3 or 4 forum members and they'll get their wedding done for free. And the quality will be pretty close to as good as professional. Regards

In fact, depending on which forum members they invite, it WILL be done by professionals. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

A photographer does their own post-processing.
Unless of course they're beginners or wankers. Or both. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

That would be nice but I would think a little to much to ask If the offer stands I might leave that little suggestion till its my wedding. I'm back

Why? I shot a protest about am onth ago and had around 400-500 photos shot for it. After a couple of drinks, I got home around 6 or 7 and finished my post-processing around 1 am with around 160 images done that I liked. It's only fair that a photographer do his or her post-processing as they're the only ones who really know what was going on when they shot their images. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

I agree if you are getting a free feed and god wine and you know the couple etc and you were asked to take a few (hundred or so) candid shots for during the day would be ok but a full day work hmm. .... It will be like...... I have a friend who is a pro landscaper, maybe I can convince him to work on my garden he already said no, though he will give me a few guidelines or when I am awaken at two in the last week by a friend for a female friend that wants me to organise to fix the internet connection so he can get in the girls good book. Finally it will also mean I will have to ran around put the album together get it bound and be fully responsible. If they were low on funds I would gladly do it. But alas the gods have been kind to them. PS. to everyone that have PM'd me....I have forwarded your websites etc. Only waiting for Heath email? And One thing the wedding is in Brisbane! But both parties reside here in Sydney so the photographer will be picked here..... travel arrangement will be negotiated. I'm back
