Thanks guys, cant wait to test out the 70-200VR Terri has hidden somewhere and the 45P and the Gitzo (scheduled also for tomorrow).
Funny thing is 6 months ago I hadn't used my Nikon SLR for a year, now when my Nikon DSLR is missing in action for 2.5 weeks I feel it is about time to get a second body!!

MJ, take the big russian for a date over the break
Jordan, I think the pick for me will be the D100 replacement. Then I might be able to get a shot good enough to fly to a town far away and burgle a printer
Onyx, didn't tell me what was wrong yet, preliminary call as a favour to me, could have picked it up this afternoon but a bit on

Ray,
you are spot on, Christmas will break over me like a slow wave over the next few days, D70 back tomorrow, new Gitzo 1348 tomorrow, Christmas Day hands on the 70-200 & 45P 2.8. First time I have looked forward to Christmas for years
Just have to restrain myself from visiting Birddy in the middle and picking up something wide angle

Glen,
That is fabulous news. What better news could one hope for, perhaps a pay increase.
Now you will able to use your new toys before and on x'mas day.
Cheers,
fozzie
