Thanks guys, cant wait to test out the 70-200VR Terri has hidden somewhere and the 45P and the Gitzo (scheduled also for tomorrow).

Funny thing is 6 months ago I hadn't used my Nikon SLR for a year, now when my Nikon DSLR is missing in action for 2.5 weeks I feel it is about time to get a second body!!

MJ, take the big russian for a date over the break :D

Jordan, I think the pick for me will be the D100 replacement. Then I might be able to get a shot good enough to fly to a town far away and burgle a printer

Onyx, didn't tell me what was wrong yet, preliminary call as a favour to me, could have picked it up this afternoon but a bit on

Ray,

you are spot on, Christmas will break over me like a slow wave over the next few days, D70 back tomorrow, new Gitzo 1348 tomorrow, Christmas Day hands on the 70-200 & 45P 2.8. First time I have looked forward to Christmas for years :D

Just have to restrain myself from visiting Birddy in the middle and picking up something wide angle

That is fabulous news. What better news could one hope for, perhaps a pay increase.

Now you will able to use your new toys before and on x'mas day.

Cheers,
