Pixspot dead?????

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. Pixspot dead?????

Hi guys just trying to get onto Pixspot to upload a pic ,I know there have been problems with this site of late,does anyone know if it has been completely shutdown and if so where do you guys now use for uploading...BTW what does a smugmug account cost per year??> Thanks Stephen

PixSpot is unreliable at best (and yes it doesn't work for me either). There are a number of better solutions. Some people use Flickr (free with ads), other use SmugMug or PBase. My choice was SmugMug after test driving a few. YMMV. I suggest you sign up for a 7 day trial and see what you think. SmugMug is US$29.95 per year. If you do join visit here for SmugMug discount codes that give you $5 off making it $24.95
