I'm not with you Big Pix - mirrors? Matt
Matt, this may sound strange, BUT the Sydney Adventist Hospital has a media centre that has a TV studio that also works well as a photo studio. They have great lights, backdrops and did have an endless blue/green screen last time I was there. You can contact them via..

Yes we have used it a number of time through my work. Each time the rates have been different. It is a fantastic studio with all the facilities a small TV / Video production could ever need. I think the going rate was $500 for the day. But you could easily talk them down from this, as you will not be using power, TV monitors etc. Best to give them a call and say what you are planning to do, and see what they come back with. The studios are very under utilised. Mal

Matt, I might be stating the obvious but by having more then one photographer along would help share the costs, sounds like studio time, lights and models could turn out to be an expensive outing.
Get in line Craig Geoff

This will only work if each photographer is allotted a time slot...... and the studio agrees to this and also the models........ you will find that with professional models, each photographer will be charged for their time, or by the hour....
Cheers ....bp....

i investigated this and all are expensive
so i had a brainstorm just contact a local council or uni and ask if you can hire a hall space or large room thats all you need, this will be quite cheap, and spend the rest of your cash renting portable studio equipment like a backdrop and lights, this is a budget solution The only problem may be if a hall has windows without curtains or blinds but i am sure this can be rectified by searching for a hall or large room which has blinds or curtains to block out the light.
Have a look at http://buy-n-shoot.com/. They have a section on studio's you can hire.
Does the name Pavlov ring a bell?
