Hoffmann Tripod ???

Postby shutterbug on Thu Feb 02, 2006 3:03 pm

Just got back from NOB to have a look at some tripods. I say one that I liked "Hoffman" brand. Anyone heard about this brand?

Do they have the "I'm walkin' here" model, or only the Graduate model?

IOW, never heard of 'em. What's wrong with Manfrotto, Benro or Gitzo?

Yes Good brand. The models I have seen were
"The Graduate" fantastic quality well made
"John and Mary" getting rather old but was good in it’s day
"All the President's Men" powerful and strong model this one
"Kramer vs. Kramer," Award winner, one of the best made.
"Tootsie" good for those who want a light model
"Ishtar" very poor quality, stay away from this one
"Rain Man" artistic credibility
"Hook" great model for the kids to use
"Meet the Fockers" funny model Hoffmann tried to follow it up with "Meet The Parents." But was not as successful

Sorry shutterbug couldn't resist. And no I have never heard of the Hoffmann brand (double "N" )

I've got a camera, it's black. I've got some lens, they are black as well.
