I have just joined this forum. I have been lurking (sorry to use the dreaded L word) for a couple of weeks since I bought my D70. I am impressed by the friendliness and helpful comments that everyone makes.
I also have a Olympus C8080 (opps that is probably as bad as the C word). While this camera does have a great lens, it is not the fastest camera in the world. And it tends to hunt for focus in low light & macro situations.
I find that I an using the D70 now almost exclusively. I find it to be very fast, and I love the idea of being able to use different lenses again
I have posted a few pics on the PixSpot site.
Regards to all

G'day Meicw,
Just woke up from a nap on the couch Welcome to the forum... This is a great resource to learn heaps from a great bunch of people...
Had a sticky nose through your gallery on pixspot, I really liked the shot of the tree at Latrobe Lake. Very nice...
Also, if you're interested a couple of guys are getting together tomorrow for a mini-meet and a play with each other's toys (that's meant in the nicest possible taste!)... Lemme know if you're interested, you're more than welcome to come and play too!
Cheers,
Mudder

Welcome Meicw,
I still lurk from time to time.
I don't always feel I need to respond and also
sometimes others have already responded with the same or similar thoughts.
Regards
