Postby mic on Mon Dec 27, 2004 1:30 pm

Hi guys,

Finally got to test my new Nikon 105 Micro & Nikon 180 2.8 over christmas.

Here is my new Web Page with them on it, I still have a lot to learn with this Micro but some came out o.k. ( I think ) ?

Next time I will use my Tripod and pray for no wind.

Comments please

Mic, very nice shots, I love Mum's Rose.

I have a hankering for a 105 macro myself - tossing up between the Nikon and the Sigma. I have seen some excellent work from both.

Looking forward to seeing more from the new lens.

Thanks Greg,

Still a lot of experimenting to do with this lens, but I was pretty happy with most of the shots.

How did you know it was Mum's Rose ?

Cheers,

Interesting Javascript website. Did you design it? Or is it a template?

I like the orange rose as well .. very sharp.

Nikon primes what else is there to say?

I am looking at the tele 24 - 120 VR lens and a 50mm 1.4

Macro is something i don't want to develop an interest in ... just looking at the price of those primes is enough to make me cry.

I love my Nikkor 50mm 1.4 lense. Almost cried the other day though when I was mounting the lense without watching and scratched the rear glass on the camera mount as it's quite big and protruding compared to other lense.

Anyway check out the Cow on http://www.morganpost.com.

This was taken with the Nikkor 50MM 1.4 lense at really low light on Boxing Day in France at about 5-6pm.

yraen69 :

I hear the 24-120 is a very nice peice of glass.
Macro's are great, BirdDog will get you a great price on a Macro.

It's my Apple account I have, Most are crappy templates, but there are a couple of plain & simple ones I like that seem to do the trick I think.

I like to keep it simple. neat & tastefull.

Which is what I wanted to acheive so people can view my Pics with ease and not get too confused with other things distracting them.
I think it works well.

Thanks for your comments.

Any other members comments would be appreciated.

Thanks Mic
