Firsty pans it up!

A fantastic effort over at DPChallenge.com - http://www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=291947 - Firsty (Keith) got 7th place with a really sweet motorsports pan with a D200 and Tamron 28-75. Have a look, leave a comment, I'm sure he'll appreciate it.[/url]

Great shot Keith - really professional looking. You should be proud of that one!

thanks guys for the favorable comments
it was a toss up between the clean sterile image of the car (read boring)

or this more artistic but out of focus one

Image

this one was a spur of the moment shot as the camera was not set up for panning and I was actually facing the other way when I heard the boat. luckily the camera was set on uzzi mode (had forgot to change it back after trying to photograph seagulls in flight) even so I never got focus on the boat

I think I chose the wrong one as I picked up 8 votes at 1 and that is not normal for my shots
