Picture of the Week - 28 February 2006

Picture of the Week - 28 February 2006

Postby Greg B on Tue Feb 28, 2006 5:38 am

This week, the PotW is from Pharmer, with his Dodgy Backstreet Doorway.

I really like this one, there has been some PP and it has worked beautifully. The colouring
is rich (despite a bit of desaturation on the red channel), the subject is evocative and the
overall effect is quite reminiscent of some of the photography being done in the seventies.

Nice work Pharmer (Barrie), and congratulations on a very worthy Picture of the Week.

Congrats Pharmer, well done!

You've been churning out some great urban shots and this is one of the best! Still wondering what's behind that door :)

Nice choice Greg!

This is the best shot of the week for quite some time...... It has a beautiful feel to it. Who would have thought that a door could hold such interest. And the colours - wow.... this is still life photography at its finest. Exquisite.
