My article published in "Australian Photography"Hi all,
Being a photographer's forum, I thought I'd let you know that my article on 'bird photography techniques' has been chosen as the feature article in the current edition (March 2006) of "Australian Photography" magazine. It is a 5 page feature (pages 20-24) and is the one with a black and white shot of some lillies on the cover. Some of you may already have the issue but if not, and you are interested, you might like to have a quick squizz at the newsagents. Cheers Michael (Snedic)
I better grab a copy and check it out, top work Michael!

JUst read it Mike - found it without knowing you were in it, too! I actually picked it up when I saw the article listed on the cover and thought, "Hey, Mike would be interested in this". I guess I was right!!
Article reads well and the shots came up great. Congrats. Simon

Thanks so much for all the positive comments/congrats, guys.
It certainly is an honour to be featured in "Australian Photography" magazine, especially with an article on two things I adore (birds & photography). Its great to be able to impart some of my knowledge in this field to others - something I am always happy to do to forum members and others. Simon (Manta) - I had to laugh when you said you were going to let me know about an article on bird photography techniques, until you saw that I wrote the bloomin' thing! Cheers Michael
Congratulations Michael. Will have to pick up a copy tomorrow
Cheers

It's nice seeing your name in print, isn't it. I had a few articles published years ago in a Hi-Fi, was quite chuffed Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes. http://www.dionm.net/
congrats .... you should be very proud
