Idea for 2005...

Postby W00DY on Fri Dec 31, 2004 1:17 pm

I am not sure if this has been suggested or not but thought I would type it anyway...

I was thinking last night that we shoudl make a D70 Users 2005 calendar (obviously for 2006).

Each month everyone posts their favourite image taken that month and then we choose one to be the calendar shot for that month.

This is not a competition just a way to enjoy the forum even more in 2006 (wow, I'm thinking ahead).

What do you all think?

Yeah I will.

I will speak with Gary once he is back to organise this. I personally would like to have a calendar around the house with images from forum members in it.

That's a terrific idea... Hmmm, maybe a theme for each month or season??? Any other thoughts?

Cheers,

Good Idea Woody,
This could be the start of something, who knows in a few years we may have something to rival the famous Minolta calendars.

Yeah, maybe we don't need a theme straight away. We could just "pick the best pic". We'll end up with some great shots, I'l bet.

If the calendar idea sticks, maybe then we could introduce a theme for each month.

Whatever. Great idea anyway.

I think this will be best, Everyone just post their favourite picture from that month, it can be anything.

The only other suggestion I can think of at the moment is you need to have a title for your image, this will enhance the layout of the calendar if there is a title.

Great idea. Might give some of us the e-penis title of "published artist" having an image in the calendar.
