BBJ,
hahaha! Relax! take the battery out! put it on the cleaned table! leave it there and go get a cold beer or a nice botlle of red, pull out the chair, sit down comfy. Take out the charger, use your breath to blow the dust off after first sip of red wine, plug the battery onto the charger and hit the calibration button, it will run for few hours, continuing to finish the first red bottle, get the second out and keep pouring into the glass untill the battery fully charged after calibrated Last edited by birddog114 on Fri Mar 10, 2006 9:03 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Wrong! this will degrade the life of the battery. You only calibrate the battery once you've seen the warning. For the last 12 months, I only need to calibrate it once. Birddog114

Don't worry about the LED, just do as I said and it'll automatically calibrated and charged it up for you. Relax....... Birddog114

Have you finished the calibration as yet? One the calibration done, the charger will automatically charge the battery until it's full. If not! plug the battery back and rehit the calibration button, it will take few hours. Don't worry about it, check back next morning. Birddog114

Basically all that the recalibrate is doing is totally disharging the battery to freshen it. That is why it takes some time as it has to go through two cycles - discharge then recharge.

Ok Chris, well i will leave mine on all nite as it has all the lights on so no flashing but yellow cal light is on so yeh should be right by the morning.
I will get a spare battery for it thought soon as where i got my other battery for D70 has them for$55.60 so will have to put that on my list. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X
