Have ordered from them several times and each time it was a pleasure doing business with these guys. They aren't popular for no reason....

I got a couple of books from them last year, ended up being shipped from Germany! No problems at all, arrived quickly and well packaged :)

I bought some NBA dvds, the bulls dynasty and the ultimate jordan series. The jordan one took a month, and the bulls took two but it was worth it. Basically 2 for the price of 1 from ebay.com.au

One item was out of stock so that may be why they took so long.

Cheers,
Owen.

Yep, many times. There slow-shipping rates are quite reasonable these days, not like when they first started.

In fact, they got me a secondhand out-of-print book that was brand new. Great stuff.

I've bought a number of nature photography books (and others) from Amazon and they have been in perfect condition, well-packaged, arrived quickly and a good price.

No worries using them at all.

Cheers

Amazon are great for books, music and DVDs new and second hand. If you want things like electronics though they aren't an option since they don't ship such things outside the US

I used to buy everything off of Amazon in the UK, they had a dedicated site. It was superb - if you ordered before 4pm, it arrived on your doorstep the next day; absolutley fantastic service.

Haven't used it since I got to Australia, I cannot belive they don;t have an AUstralian site, but plan to do so in the future because the books i want are almost half price on it.

I've ordered many DVDs and CDs from Amazon in the past (from amazon.com, amazon.ca and amazon.co.uk). Never really had a problem. Sometimes the delivery takes a while for whatever reason (out of stock, backorder, butterfly flapping its wings across the other side of the ocean etc).. But largely good experiences.

I find that pricewise for DVDs/CDs I can often do almost as well, or better locally, but Amazon is a great place to get Region 1/2 DVDs, or hard-to-find CDs.

Peter - two things:

1. Please give some specifics eg lens, camera, batteries??

2. As I said above:

Try http://www.adorama.com instead
