Kris,
What are you going to do with the remote without the cam?
Can the remote trigger the snowboard to roll in to you???
You'll get it before you leave for NZ. Guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!

hehe.. you cheeky buggers :)

My holiday is all paid for, but to be honest this D70 was a bit of a last moment thing.. I don't travel OS often but I wanted to get a Camera when I did go because of the Duty Free thing

The issue is, I'm waiting for my stupid company to pay me so I can go and GET this camera :D :D :D (termination pay, as I changed jobs this camera is a bit of a present for me, just don't tell my girlfriend how much it is!!!)

Work said, Yep! the cash will be in on the 16/9, its now 4.30pm and nada!

Heres hoping its in soon, or at least before 4pm tomorrow heh..

Are you checking your "funds available", rather than the "current balance"? I've found that the former is often updated (and you can use the money) even when the balance doesn't yet reflect the deposit.

Kris, download the manual in PDF and have a read in the meantime to save time... ;) then when pick up your camera, you won't be restricted to using just the auto and 'idiot' modes.

And when you alight, the battery will still not be charged.

Perhaps it might be worthwhile to buy a second battery/charger and take care of that before departure.

Kris, Where are you?
He got the cam and disappear, perhaps he's charging the battery, and read the manual to find out how to switch it on. Great to meet him!
We're waiting your photo.
Wish you have a good trip and post our photo once you got back
