While looking at Maxwell's site, Leigh noticed that, with respect to Nikon products, there seems to be a new redirection in place.

Consider this partial result from a Whois query

Perhaps it's for NPS, and that site is never up since it's announced.

It is now. Maxwells are redirecting product queries to this very Nikon-looking site.

New CEO + new direction, take people away of flaming and bashing Maxwell,
This tactic will make Nikon shoulders all the blame not Maxwell.
And Nikon Japan could not read/ speak English well!
That why I posted few days ago:
I'm learning, chanting and praying in Japanese!!!!

The Nikon looking site has been there for a few months - I first noticed it when the EN-EL3 battery recall was happening. Additionally http://www.nikon.com.au has always redirected to the Maxwell site in the past so this is probably only a minor change.
