Went to load down the free filters, but most of them now have heavy "DEMO' overlay.
It looks like I'm too late

Thanks, I just downloaded a copy. I downloaded it from the developer some time ago, but I cannot find where I saved it to...

I grabbed it the other week and went hunting for it on my puter today, really impressed with it actually. Quite easy to get some nifty results from it.
Thanks!

I never used to stuff around in PS until I installed that virtual photographer plug-in. The soft/glamour effect is especially nice - turns a normally exposed portrait into a high key one with fuzziness (but also quite prone to blown highlights if image is 'optimally' exposed).

The .zip file posted has a whole bunch of .exe programs in it, to install them you just run them, and it does the rest?

There's a read me in the resultant directory / folder when you run the .exe file. It will tell you to move the optikVerveLabs folder into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop X\Plug-Ins . It's then simply a matter of restarting PS (or starting it if you never had it open). When using an 8 bit image you'll then see a new filter option down the bottom of the menu.
Cheers

Well the software loaded fine, have yet to really play with it, looks look a well packaged clever set of actions. Worth a play for sure.

Whoa there... it's pretty easy to find... just open your eyes... <-- like that.
You go to the page that Matt originally linked to... or the one I'm linking to now... and then you click yonder on either of the images that say "Free Download" on them, depending on whether you want it in an executable format or a zip format.
