New member picsHi All,
I've had my D70 for a while now, I've always enjoyes other's photos but never posted any images. Here's my turn... comments welcome http://www.pixspot.com/albums/userpics/10059/Mustang105mm.jpg http://www.pixspot.com/albums/userpics/10059/SeattleNeedle-lores.JPG http://www.pixspot.com/albums/userpics/10059/SmashMouthBW-lores.jpg Alistair
Alistair - the last two shots are amazing especially the Seattle Needle. Of course one does have to ask the question - is the mustang yours?

Nice work Alistair, and welcome to another Melbourne member.
They are excellent shots, and even though I am not particualrly a car person, that Mustang is decidedly horniferous. Greg - - - - D200 etc

I love mustangs, and that is a beautiful specimen! What a well looked after car. And you've caught the lines and the depth of the paint with that photo, well done!
And WOW the other two shots. That one of the needle is from a great angle. The one of Smashmouth could be an advertising photo I really like it! Cheers Brett
Great photos, I think you have done a great job on all of them and I can't wait to see more of your work.
Can I suggest you crop out the bottom of the mustang image so we can't see the edge of the path / road. I found myself looking away from the car (yes, I couldn't beleive it either) and looking at the bottom of the frame as it caught my eye. The photo of Smash Mouth is sensational... you really should be proud of this one, I'm speechless (well in awe anyway). Cheers, W00DY Andrew
Nikon D3 and lot's of Nikon stuff!!
Fantastic shots , but like Woody said Mustang photo would benefit from the crop.
Loved the light & clarity - classic calendar or poster shot! Well done.
G'day Alistair,
Great to see new member's posting, good stuff and welcome I enjoy car stuff so the 'stang really caught me eye, the Seattle Needle is a great shot from a really well conceived and different angle, good to see new viewpoints, but SmashMouthBW-lores is stunning! That's an advertising poster or album cover right there! Great image and capture, that one really grabbed my attention.... Thanks for posting Cheers, Mudder Aka Andrew
Funny, I'm not much of a car person, but the 'stang pic blew me away. Magic lighting on it! Definite calendar or framing material.
Maybe see if there's a 'stang club around you could sell it to? Dopeler Effect: The tendency of stupid ideas to seem smarter when they come at you rapidly.
Hi Alistair. The pic of the Mustang is great, and I agree with the others, the Mustang Car Club (or whatever) would love it. But I think that the last pic is the best. The positioning of the singer is nigh on perfect. Hope you show us more.
Regards Meic
