is the price difference worth it?

just want to get a flash before i set off on holidays, i usually subscribe to the 'get the best first rather than upgrade later' theory, but i'm penny pinching as this holiday may involve me selling my second born and i dont see a lot of reasons to pay 200 bucks for a similar flash.

I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"
