Thai festival: beauty contest and Fashion Show

Postby Alex on Thu Mar 16, 2006 10:21 am

Just to let everyone who is interested know. There will be an annual Thai festival (Thai New Year - Songkran) at Federation Square 9th April 10 am -9 pm. There will be many activities e.g., food, fashion show and beauty contest. Here is a the link. http://home.vicnet.net.au/~atai/thaifestival.htm

My own photos from the last year's event (excuse the quality, I used 70-300G): http://agitlits.m6.net/NikonD70/Songkran2005/index1.htm

Hope to see you there, guys. It gets pretty crowded there, but we might be able to meet.

Hey Alex, I bought that 70-300G from you.
And sold it again when I bought my 80-200 (only lost $10 on the deal) BTW, I did my first fashion parade shoot the other night. I'll put some images up once I've got a few more ready.

Cheers
John

Great stuff, John. Looking forward to seeing them. I'm hunting for 80-200 f2.8 now. Wanna sell yours by any chance :-)?

Actually Alex, I've got a 80-400VR on order from Birdy. If I really like the VR capability, then anything's possible.

Cheers
