Gee ...I dunno Tony. Are we able to class a Caboolturite as a Sunshine Coaster? I reckon Suzanne's more one of us! Not that it's a competition or anything.
Welcome aboard Suzanne! Visit often, soak up the atmosphere and post a lot of images from that most desireable piece of kit you have! See you at a meet. Simon

Re: Show Jumping,
Thanks for the compliment Suzanne. Most of those were from in the arena with the kit 18-70mm and taken crouched down low beside the wings. I like the dramatic aspect that produces. The more conventional type shots were using a Tamron 70-300 from beside the course. Cheers

GameGee Mark,, Your game, to get that close to the wings,, what if they have a run off or crash the fence,, I like to keep a bit of distance between me and the fence, but then I am a female coward, heeheh, looking forward to sunday and the following week, PCQ have there showjumping on at the show grounds, if your there look me up,, I will be the tiny woman with damn big camera and even bigger hat,, LOL

I'm here Welcome Suzanne. I am pretty new here myself and although I know one or two from other locations (which I won't hold against them). There is a kite festival next month with plans for a get together you will see on another thread. BTW If you need a lens or two to go with that D200 there are a couple of blokes not too far from you with quite a decent selection Cheers
