Stones concertDid anyone else go to the stones concert? I was worried that they were going to be some really old guys trying hard, but nothing could be further from the truth. They still have it, especially Mick.
Of course I have a photos. Bad photos taken with the little cannon A80, hand held, long exposures. But at least it proves I was there! These are the "abstracts" cut from the general blurry backgrounds Canon EOS 350D Tamron 18-200mm
Just what do you think you're doing Dave?
Wow, I think I can see Keith Richards in that second shot of a musical nebula!

That's a trippy photo of Keith Richards ....wonder if that's what he sees when he's stoned?

Wow! after seeing those shots I want to go to the next concert!
Seriously though, it's very difficult to shoot in that environment from any sort of distance. Especially when you're trying not to get noticed. Did they have a photography ban? Tony All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
Yes, it says "no cameras or recorders" on the melbourne show tickets. That's how it was for their 2003 tour also. Alex
Dude! At least mine was subtle Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone

I was there too! but up in the stands. Don't have my coolpix right now, so didn't get any photos. Excellent show though, really quite a performance!
I wouldn't be too concerned about this provided you don't take in a SLR. From up in the stands you could see a sea of glowing LCDs down on the ground level seats, stacks of flashes going off and so on. Security were more interested in telling the pissed guy to stop standing up and dancing on his seat rather than harassing people taking photos nearby.
Yep - that's my story and I'm sticking to it Daniel is right - there were dozens of people around me taking photos with their phones and security didn't care. Canon EOS 350D Tamron 18-200mm
