I think we need a missing person thread.
Anyone know where =BlackWater= has got to? She was quite active here until late last year. I miss her avatar too.

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
Sorry everyone, I haven't been on holiday nor have I abandoned you. Unfortunately Katie has been quite sick, and eventually had surgery at a local public hospital which was ordeal enough in itself. She has been back for sometime now but is fairly immobile and has a daily visit from a community nurse to clean and redress her wound from the surgery. I'm not sure poor Katie would be comfortable with me sharing anymore details then that, but it's been a fairly busy and tiring experience to us both, so I hope you understand why i've been AWOL the last could of weeks. We are still hoping to go to Fiji in late May (but it really is a wait and see game) depending on Kate's health and mobility.
Thanks, Craig
Thanks Glen, speaking of breaks seems like I have a lot of catching up to do after my absence.
Hi Craig,
I was one of many who noticed you were AWOL from the forum and wondered where you had got to. Sorry to hear about Katie and its great she has you to help her during her illness. As much as photography/being a forum member is a great thing, its times like these you realise your priorities. Although I haven't met her, I wish Katie a speedy recovery. Look forward to having you back on the forum soon, mate! Cheers Michael
Craig,
Your priority is Katie, and nobody here will suggest otherwise. Pay her all the attention she needs, and that she desrves. Please wish her a speedy recovery on behalf of all of her friends here. g.

I hope Katie has a speedy recovery. It must be extremely difficult for you both ATM - especially given Katie is the only driver in the family. As Gary says - your energy should go into ensuring Katie's needs are well looked after, second your needs and, somewhere well down the list, this place. I say just forget about all the posts you've missed and start with a clean slate when time permits. And whatever you do make sure you & Katie don't rush things. The trip to Fiji once Katie feels up to it would be a very good idea. My thoughts are with both of you. Peter

Couldn't agree more, well said!
Sorry to hear of your woes Craig, Katie resting up after her surgical procedure is a top priority to regain her health. Been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt as they say. Please accept my best wishes for you both for the future.
