Birdy you make me say things that I regret .
All I need is a real cheap hobby laptop doesn’t need to be sharp or fast a bit like a 24-120VR

All of those sub-1000 lappies are all technically the same.

I'd go either the Toshiba or Asus seeing as they'll be built better than the others.

Asus does not have any sub 1K laptop same as Toshiba.

Here's Acer:

Acer Aspire 3613LM Home Cel M 370/256M/40G/DVD Dual/15" $990.00 GST INC.

With the exception of the hard disk and perhaps video, they're pretty similar Birdy:

Oh and the 24-120VR doesn't need to be sharp or fast either. Fortunately it's both :D

Officejerks are still running that ad. It was just on during the 9 news.

If they have none available, one might be inclined to suggest that they're falsely and misleadingly advertising this deal, which is not exactly legal.

Give them a call, and don't be afraid to ask for a manager and demand that they honour their advertising, lest you take the matter up with some (toothless) government watchdog.
