Chernobyl - 20 years on

Postby Paul on Thu Apr 27, 2006 9:04 pm

A very soul searching docu in photo's with commentry about the disaster that happened 20 years ago.
I still remember the fear about what would happen to us living in the Uk during this frightning episode of our history.

saw doc krushaniski? on sunrise this morning talking about it.
As bad as it was, more people die from coal mining in a year than have died in the last 20 years since the meltdown. Thats scary and sad.

I purchased a Teddy Bear this morning for the sum of $10. I named him Mohammed. This afternoon I sold him on E-Bay for $30. My question is, "Have I made a prophet?"

I remember seeing it on 60 minutes a week or two ago...

It was fascinating, as I was only still a little kid back then so I don't have much idea of what was happening.

Now the putting all that into perspective... It's... shocking.
