A meet with a CCD cleaning demonstration

Postby birddog114 on Sat Sep 18, 2004 5:09 pm

Gary and members,

I met MattK today (one of our member), we talked about the CCD cleaning, Matt has experiences with his CCD cleaning and and done this very often with his photography students and able to give members of this community a hands on. I asked him about the demonstration of CCD cleaning to interested member, and he agreed to give it a go.

The maximum number of attendees is 5/ session.

Location: At my place (In the rear granny flat) on one Saturday or Sunday.

How do you think?

Please note: People who like to attend has to bring your own camera. I'll supply Sensor Swab + Pec*Pad + Eclipse Fluid for the session, and it's in your own risk

Gary,
Can we make one meeting in the next couple week and one in November?
I think we have number of member interested in this topic, if we make it in one time, we don't have room to fit everyone.
So the first meet will have 5 or maximum of 6 members, exclude myself, I'll host this meet at my place same as the second one. Hope MattK will heps us this one.
Please give me your ideas Folk!!!!

As long as Matt is cool with this, it's fine by me.

How does Oct 10 sound? We can take some post election snaps. :)

Give me a time and a date...I'm pretty flexible. Bring your steelwool and your Karcher high pressure blasters! October 10 at birddogs place sounds fine.
Regards

Thanks Matt.
If I don't see any more reply or register, I think we will have Killakoala + pluckaduck, these guys would like to learn as soon as possible coz Killakoala is going away for 3 months and pluckaduck will be leaving for o/s in a biz trip soon.
Matt, what's the nearest week-end that you can come to my place and help these guys?

Killakoala and Pluckaduck, please keep an eye on this link, I'll keep you posted

Postby plukaduck on Sun Sep 19, 2004 10:23 pm

Hi,

Count me in on that one. I will be at uni on the 26th Sept and the 10th Nov and travelling overseas on the 16th for a little more than a week but other than that I am free for the session.

Cheers,

Darryl.

As i said in the email i sent you i won't be able to make it this weekend due to work commitments. I'm not sure when i will be available again for the next two months as i am 'remaining flexible' for any extra work that is required.

Sorry :(
