EOI - JohnD heading up from Tassie for a Photo Shoot?Hi All,
As you would already know if you have been reading the Blue Mountains thread... JohnD is heading up to Sydney from Tassie for a shoot. I'll be taking him around... say Harbour Bridge, Opera House and any other place that would be interesting. It will be an early (sunrise) shoot, anyone interested? I'll start organising time and destination if I get a handful of ppl BTW - I have never done anything like this before.... Cheers,

Trieu it might be helpful for those less familar with the Blue Mountains Thread to include the dates. It's the 20/05 if I'm not mistaken ?
P.S. Belongs in Absolute begginers sections, but what does EOI standard ?
Sunrise shoot? Crikey, you're keen. But I guess I'm organising a 7am or 8am start in the Blue Mountains a few weeks after, so I can't complain
I am going to the Swans v Bulldogs game at the SCG that night, so I might not be able to make an early start (otherwise it ends up being a really, REALLY long day!!). Depending on how long you are going, I might be able to tag along for some of it though, later in the morning/afternoon. Put me down as potentially interested, pending further details.
That wouldn't be a problem, a lunch time meet is also on the agenda.
JohnD and I just want to be able to capture the morning light coming over the Harbour.. Lunchtime meet? then we were thinking of La Perouse for day shoots, any other nice places/suggestion for an afternoon shoot? Cheers,

Is JohnD = JohnH? If yes, then he will take you inside his residence over the Nothern side for a bbq lunch
I've been told he has a huge cellar with good Reds overthere. Birddog114

Based on observation I'd say if Little Johnny does invite us over for a drink he'll only offer back to us the wine & nibblies he collected when he last visited us for a party. Then he'll hope we're drunk enough to think he's a good host because he wined and dined us with our own food and drink. Next morning when we wake up with a hangover he'll say he told us drinking could be bad for you - it was in the fine print and BTW I lied about the fact I'd invite you back for a party next week Peter

I'm tentative about the morning shoot as it is the day before Fiji so if I can I'll come but I may be doing last minute packing / shopping/ organising.
Hi everyone, John and I should be at the meeting point at 10.30am.
Meeting Point: Between The Museum of Contemporary Art and the First Fleet Park Time: 10.30am, this Saturday. See you there? I post this into my other thread also. Cheers,

I'm trying to get there for the early morning shoot (you have my number right?). Dawes Point Reserve.. I'll check it out on a map
Still not 100% on either 6am or 10:30am as I may have things to do that morning... But I am interested nonetheless!!! Unfortunately I may only be able to decide on Friday night.
