Few Baseball pics from lastnight.Hi All well i went to an exhibition opening called Voyages of Vietnam, Photo's taken by sailors and was like a Navy thing all photo's and was ok. Anyhow went out to Baseball with the 70-300 G for awhile to take some shots here is a few. Off to Horse show jumping today for a bit take a few pics.Was near 8pm when i took these pics.

BBJ - love the first shot - real action and not too much distraction. The other shots might have gained more by either a different position or larger aperture (f/3.5 or whatever is the largest on the camera) - not sure what you used but IMO the background needs to be more out of focus.

Hi Chris, Yes mate would have been better in differant postition but thought it was better than trying to focus through a wire fence as i did take some just to try it out and i could have upped the shutter speed but didn't want to try and freeze the action but still show some motion. It was just a trial to see how the lens worked in the light ok it was still a bit daylight they did have lights on and will try it later at night under full lights.
