Tokina ATX 270 Pro and Pro11 - what is the difference?

Postby garyr on Wed May 10, 2006 6:53 pm

Hi Folks,

Sorry for the newb question, I scratched on the web (google/thk website/review sites/ etc) - I am trying to find the difference between two Tokina lenses:
1. Tokina AF ATX 270 Pro 28-70 f2.6-f2.8, and
2. Tokina AF ATX 270 Pro11 28-70 f2.6-f2.8

I have an opportunity to pickup number 1 S/H, but it costs 3x more than number 2 BNIB. What am I missing, or is the seller asking far too much?

Thanks,
Gary

Thanks Huynhie,

I looked at the SV but it is the "budget" version, which the seller tells me is not the version he has. I am told that the Pro was the earlier version of the Pro11 but fo rth elife of me have not been able to find any reference to it.

Really appreciate the time you took to help out, thank you!
