Photoshopping a face tutorialI'm thinking very seriously about making one or two Photoshop face tutorials as I had quite a few people seem interested in the hw-to that a lot of us did with this thread.
So what I need is a head (as opposed to needing head... and we won't go there right now). And then I also need a character or a scene to place the head, or rather face, onto. So who wants to volunteer... Craig? Wendell? Last edited by Nnnnsic on Mon May 15, 2006 3:02 pm, edited 1 time in total.

A decent sized image or a few decent sized images of you where the lighting on your face isn't too harsh.
It can be front on, to the side... anything. But realise this will determine the sort of picture we can use well in terms of mapping your face to something. Depending on the extent of interest for these, I might do a few showing some easy ones, medium ranged ones, and hard ones. To give an example, this one of Durer and this one of Seven of Nine were fairly easy, this one of Alexander Downer was medium, and this one of Yoda was hard. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Craig, did you even LOOK at that thread?
Leigh is just looking to deflect attention away from himself Ahh.. gotta love photochopping.
why is there no photoshop area?? where one can post questions or photos that one can play around with?
i think it will be very interesting. christian check my website>> http://www.6701.sunpixs.com
I think that would be great too. Maybe a collection of photoshop tips/tutorials/actions etc.
I am.
I asked for that initially in the first post in this thread.
So, who wants to give me some suggestions? And if anyone else wants their head photoshopped onto something, I'll certainly try and make a tutorial out of you too, time permitting of course. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

Nice work Leigh - I wondering If I could beat the Stig around the race track ? I'd have to be in the 430 and the Stig in the Suzuki

Ok. I've just recorded the first one.
I shall be exporting it to a variety of formats... probably Windows Media (WMV) for our Windows users, Quicktime (MOV) for our Mac users, and Flash video (FLV) for our users who prefer to download nothing. I'll be sticking it online later tonight and recording another one, hopefully, right after I stick it online. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au
