Yes, if you can get it.
The last one on eBay I've seen it (35/1.4) at around AU$350.00, very good buy.

They must be working on an AFS version.

I find it strange that Nikon are willing to leave a hole in their fast WA lens line up.

But having said that, I own one, so i'm happy. And will be happy to upgrade...

Buy it now as glass investment and sell it at the right time for the 300mm AF-S VR.

Quite frankly it's a very overpriced piece of glass and not worth the money unless you have a very narrow, specific use for it.
