Issue with D200 and Rawshooter PremiumI learned something tonight while processing this photo.
I was getting concerned because as I processed the raw files of my d200, there appeared to be a lot of banding and noise showing up in the tonal gradations that made it look like it was coming from a cheap point and shoot. Wasn't sure what to think about it. I exported it as tiff and began to work on it in Photoshop. I suddenly realized that it didn't look nearly as bad. So brought them up on the same screen, at the same size, with nothing done to them, and sure enough, Rawshooter Premium didn't know how to display the file like Photoshop did. I thought that some of you would find this interesting as I'm sure that some of you process using Rawshooter. I've got this feeling like I'm going to have to change to the new capture when it comes out. I must say though, that this would be as challengin an image as any to get those tones right without the stripes separating them, I was quite pleased to see how the D200 dealt with them.
If anyone wants to see it large, you may do so here http://static.flickr.com/72/153971419_3ed6eeb2f7_b.jpg
