Well folks, after nine long months I finally welcomed my child into the world today. Whilst not officially named, it's likely he'll be named 'Ewan'.
My wife is an utter champion, after a 16 hour labor, which finished up in an attempted 'face first' delivery, followed there after by an emergency caesar, both mum and bub are doing well. It was all terribly emotional, but I'm proud of my little boy and his mum.
I thought I'd post a pic to let you all see him. I think I may post more in the coming weeks, months and years, so I'll apologise in advance Ewan Reid Beattie: Last edited by Raskill on Sun May 28, 2006 3:18 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Happy birthday Ewan! well done everyone else. just beautiful.
 We expect lots of photos.
Q: if you sign onto a stock library, can you claim your children as a tax deduction for subject matter?Way to much photography gear is never enough!

Not yet. I think if I mention your name and the cheque in the one sentance to the wife, I'll be paying child support for the rest of my life. On the other hand if I say nothing and just......
....no, that would be naughty. All I need is a Tokina 12-24 and an Sb800 and I have everything I need, until next week that is.

 Thanks for the congrats!
