My new Sigma 30mm

Unless they get too big for themselves, this is where you can talk about the "other" brands of DSLR's: Konica Minolta / Sony, Pentax / Samsung, Olympus, Horseman, etc.

Shutterbug,

That is a great price, I paid just a little less for one from the US.
It's a great little lens, enjoy.

Cheers

Have you or they tested it with the D200?
May not work and needed re-chip.

I had a huge whinge to CR kennedy about my lens taking looooooong time to be fixed so they're giving me a brand new one, I also have (but shouldn't have) a list of serial numbers of lenses effected by the re chipping and the batch numbers where they started being fixed if anyone needs them.
Are we there yet?

Michael,

I'd be interested in this list of serial numbers, see if my 30mm is one of those affected. Although I don't know what this re-chipping issue is. Is it something just for the D200 or Nikon or ....?

Cheers.

Michael,

Would you care to add that to the wiki?

I was asked that I not disclose the document openly on the internet, but I'd be happy to answer any queries via pm by forum members.

Pm me with lens serial numbers and I'll tell you if the lens will be effected as per the sigma japan memo to cr kennedy.

Actually, it was posted on DPR while ago.
Let me jump over and dig it up.
