Hi BellaAngel - welcome. There are a few members with the D50 and the results that it can produce are impressive. Hopefully we will see some of your pics posted soon :D

Welcome BellaAngel,
The D50 chapter is growing day by day, same as other brand like Canon.

Hope you'll enjoy while you surfing and keep asking, bashing and blaming your friend, who introduced you to this site if something goes wrong :lol:

Welcome Bella. Congrats on getting your new toy. You'll soon experience the well-known phenomenon, called "lens lust"....don't be afraid of it. Just succumb to it and all will be fine....... :lol:

Seriously, enjoy the friendly banter and I'm sure you will learn a hell of a lot from this great place (as we all have).

Bella,

Welcome.

Remember that it's Tim's fault when you start buying new lenses, your SB800, that Gitzo ypu've always wanted .....

Please tell us a bit about your past photographic exploits - Tim says you're a prior Pentaxophile?

And yes, ask questions: we're of the belief that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask, and there's plenty of people falling over themselves waiting to offer you advice.

Some of it may even be useful. :)

Hi Bella and welcome aboard.

I echo the comments here already, especially Gary's edict that "it's Tim's fault". The man's lens lust is incurable and highly contagious, so much so that it's recently been added to our list of prescribed Quarantineable diseases. It's certainly reached the pandemic stage here on the forum but, for what it's worth, take whatever precautions you can and you may be able to stave it off for a little while. With no natural immunity, though, we're all doomed.

:wink: :lol: :wink:

(I need to get out of my office for an hour or so....)

Ive heard of them but the price point for the 1.8 is more resonable.
$100++ vs $500++
