Girls of Blues PointSome of the more salient shots from the Sydney long lens meet at Blues Point. Since Pixspot is down, it's hosted on ImageShack (sorry for the potential pop ups, IE users).
I'll get around to the harbour bridge, city, boats and general boring landscapes later... All shot with Fuji Astia tone curve. My first trial of this curve - which shares similarities with Provia_D70 except for some complex happenings in the highlights end. It's staying on my camera.
Nice pics, nice and sharp too.
Which lens was it? The 80-200??? Steve.

We got two weddings within hours,
I got some wedding shots and their photographers as well and am waiting for pixspot. Lovely day yesterday! and lot of fun at the long lens meet, once the two wedding turned up and the second with car of their support team did not start when they finished shooting. Birddog114

Thanks Chris. Unfortunately those are fairly uninspiring images and a waste of the abilities of this sweet lens.
Anyway, some more shots from the Blues Point meet. The guys setting up: Birddog handholding his massive 200-400: Luna Park Ferris Wheel - the colours caught my eye: Stubbsy shooting with 80-400VR: Sailing across the harbour, with the Anzac Bridge in the background: Glen's immaculate red Porsche: Turn on the glamour effects (have I overdone it?) (Miss & Mrs Birddog) P&O cruiseship looking like it's about to get intimate with The Coathanger:
