That's a really big salary range... so expect that a guy who has a clue would get top dollar, that leaves a chance for us at the other end of the scale... at a measly $77k a year.

Nope. Would love to work in astronomy but I know nothing about projects or managing... so putting the two together I'd have no hope
$77K for someone who knows what they are doing, $103K + for a public servant with good connections. Way to much photography gear is never enough!
