New Pics

Postby NewbieD70 on Mon Jan 10, 2005 7:35 pm

Hi everyone,

I`m just posting some pics for you guys to look at, these are sunset in Perth..the day after the pics Darb took.

Dont expect anything to flash as they are taken from my back yard and my attempt at taking in manual mode. I was playing with setting like f 4.5 1/80 and f 5 1/60 and done some bracketing to see what happens.

The only altered one is the first pic (Hue settings), all the rest are just resized for the web.

As per the group, I am open to constructive critisizm that will improve my shots

Thanks : http://photo.majorlook.com/index.html
Thanks, Trevor

cool looking skies. is there a scientfic explanation for the color?
it would make a really great backdrop for a portrait, but you would need to know when it happens.

Great sky shots. Always handy to paste into pics that have a lack lustre sky for that added effect.

Thanks for the comments guys.. my place is in Ascot which is where they were taken.. I should take Darbs advice and head out for an hour or so around 7.30..that seems to be the best time.. i`m just about to buy a filter, so will be interesting to see what comes up next..

take care all
Thanks, Trevor
