Second hand prices on 20D

Also how is the performance when compared to a 30D?

I sold my 20D three months ago for $1,400.00. I just happened to mention it at a lunch with my neighbour and her daughter bought it immediately - cash!

I know little of the 30D and am unsure why one would want to lose so much on the 20D to buy a similar camera. I sold mine to buy the 5D - now THAT is an upgrade

She lives in Perth but I have heard she is now into buying L lenses! Have you looked at eBay? There must be a fair few coming on to the second hand market for those looking to buy the 5D.
