Hello, I am new to this forum!Hello (from cold Calgary, Canada), I just joined up. I found this forum yesterday. Good to see other D70 lovers. I have had my D70 for 4 months and love it so much. I am going to school part time for photography to hone my amateur skills, to become a pro one day. I just wanted to say hi to everyone. I am sure I will learn lots from you guys, and hopefully I can give some input as well.

I noticed most of you guys are from Australia. Beautiful country. I would love to visit there again one day. I only went to Sydney and Brisbane. Must be so nice and warm there right now. Tomorrow for us it will feel like -45 celcius thanks to the -27 temp with 60km winds.
Welcome Neeper

I would trade places with you anyday. If I went outside I would get frostbite within 2 mins. After 5 mins, I would be frozen solid. Hope my car starts tomorrow for work.
Welcome - Neeper

When people ask what equipment I use - I tell them my eyes.
welcome,
you may help us with your experiences regarding the cold. How ist the D70 holding up in cold weather ? Show us some images of frozen things. (lake, iceycles, snow, etc ... ) Cheers CD
I do not know how it holds up!! It's too cold outside to take shots. I'd rather be inside. When it gets warmer, like -20
