Back from Germany

Postby DionM on Thu Jun 15, 2006 6:28 pm

Sorry I've been quiet, been o/s for 4wks for work. Got back yesterday.

Had 4 weekends to enjoy, which I did, with 20D in tow. Took only my 17-40 F4 and 24-105 F4 IS and only really missed my 70-200 a few times. But was able to pack much lighter, which was a blessing.

Didn't get to any of the world cup matches as (a) was there for work and (b) didn't know I was going until recently, so no time to organise tix.

Am currently sorting through my photos at present, will start posting a few soon.

I also learnt to ensure I de-frag my PD70x before travelling ... lucky I had my work laptop there to defrag it, would have been a problem if I didn't. (it only uses continguous free space, of which there was only about 4GB ...).

Canon 20D and a bunch of lovely L glass and a 580EX. Benro tripod. Manfrotto monopod. Lowepro and Crumpler bags. And a pair of Sigma teleconverters, and some Kenko tubes.
