your lens list.Hey guys I have just started out and have my 18-55mm kit lens and 70-300G lens... I am just wondering what lenses would be best to buy and in what order... I am keen on a fisheye as I do a bit of skate photography and they are great for that. But after reading the fisheye do you really need one thread it gave me second thoughts. So could anyone give me a bit of a guidline to which lenses they bought and what ones they use the most. Cheers Dan
Hi deaw,
This topic should post in General Discussion instead of. And there're so many threads and topics on this board about what you're after. Birddog114

Dan it will depend on the sort of photography that you do. A lot of us dabble in a little bit of everything, so we have lenses from wide angles right up to long tele lens. If variety is your thing then try and cover focal lens from about 12mm up to 200 or 300mm.

Re: your lens list.
I tend to go through stages. Sometimes my macro lens never comes off. Sometimes the telephoto.
the 12-24dx is the most versatile lens for whacky perspectives
if your not keen on the fisheye 12mm can make things look more dramatic then after that some kind of zoom lens
70-200VR, lives on my D70s body! You can't go past it!
A bit pricey though! 2x D700, 2x D2h, lenses, speedlights, studio, pelican cases, tripods, monopods, patridges, pear trees etc etc
