Photographers' Rights - continued....A good article by Terry Lane in today's Green Guide, Shutter bluff discussing
the rights of photographers out in the world. The reasonable tone of the article enhances it's strength. It is good to see that this important issue continues to receive attention. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Good article for sure, but it all comes down to the individual who has to be prepared to stand his or her ground.
The more photographers who cave into the "goons" employed by businesses, the more confident they'll become at trying to tell us we can't photograph. I'm sure most of them have absolutely no idea where their authority stops. Let's face it most of them are doing the job because they're not the fastest film in the camera Tony All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
As you say Greg, a good article.
My brother-in-law works on a construction site, the "workers" are required to surrender thier mobile phones upon commencement of work. Strange, this was not a requirement when mobiles were not equipped with camera's. When queried the response was that it was done on the grounds of "Safety" It seems there are those who want to make the world a one way street, thier way
Interesting Andy - I wonder if they would have to surrender a small P&S camera? In the interests of "safety".
